Mark dashed out the door, late for his first sales call of the day, and left his cell phone on the kitchen counter. When it rang, Linda glanced down at the Caller ID and saw that it was from Mark’s office so she answered it. Mark’s secretary was frantically looking for him because the regional sales manager was on a plane for an unannounced visit and needed to be picked up at the airport in less than two hours. After hanging up, Linda scrolled through the phone’s call history. She assumed, correctly as it turned out, that Mark would have confirmed the day’s appointments. She found him on the third call and gave him the news. When he commented that his car was a mess, Linda offered to run have her car washed. Mark finished his appointment, came home, retrieved his cell phone, traded cars with Linda, and raced to the airport. That night, Linda not only got heaps of Frequent Foreplay Miles, she also got dinner at her favorite restaurant.

Linda no doubt had something different planned for her day. But, she understood that if the regional sales manager was making a surprise visit, Mark needed to be on top of the game. Giving him a clean car meant he had one less thing to worry about. Way to go, Linda!

Sharon spoke twice more to the ex and both times she was met with silence. George, who had no reason to be anything other than friendly toward his ex, noticed this rebuff. He took Sharon’s hand, and excusing himself, led her away and thereafter kept his distance from the ex.

His actions were eloquent. He deserved and got heaps of Frequent Foreplay Miles.

Diane came home to find the back door wide open when it should have been closed and locked. Luckily, it wasn’t a burglary. The housekeeper had come, gone and failed to pull the door shut. Diane’s beloved Smokey, an indoor cat, was nowhere to be seen. After unsuccessfully combing the neighborhood, Diane tearfully called Phil at work. Although he was under a deadline to finish a pitch for an advertising campaign, he dropped everything and came home AFTER he took time to prepare and duplicate lost-cat posters. He was pretty sure Smokey would show up on their doorstep after a night of being cold and hungry, but he had the good sense to keep that to himself. Instead of dismissing her worry as irrational or an over-reaction, he jumped right in to help Diane find her cat. As he was leaving to go hang posters, Phil spotted Smokey darting behind a neighbor’s backyard shed. After twenty minutes of coaxing, Smokey finally came within reach. Phil lunged, grabbed the errant cat, and delivered it safely into Diane’s arms. Phil was Diane’s hero! Not only did she give him a truckload of Frequent Foreplay Miles, ut he got some pretty good lovin’ too!

What I love most about this story is how Phil put Sharon and her feelings ahead of everything else, een though he secretly thought her level of concern was unwarranted. I’m certain Phil was tempted to respond to Diane’s call by telling her he was under the gun, to stopworrying, and he’d see her later. But he didn’t. And that’s why he deserved a truckload of Frequent Foreplay Miles.
